DESCRIPTION:There is power meditating in a group setting. \nMeditation is the practice of turning our attention inward. When we still the mind in meditation we are drawn\, like bees to honey\, to the presence of God within. Touching this Truth\, our restlessness ceases\, and we are flooded with a sense of our own perfection and divinity. \nThis three-hour event includes guided instruction on the essential aspects of Siddha Yoga meditation\, such as posture\, breath\, and mantra. Participants will also engage in sharing\, journaling\, and Siddha Yoga Hatha Yoga stretches. \nAll meditators are welcome\, including those new to meditation. \n*Retreats\, satsangs\, Shaktipat Intensives\, and other events are subject to change without notice. Additionally\, The Siddha Yoga Ashram in Manhattan reserves the right to correct any inaccurate information and/or inconsistencies.

A new air-conditioning system has been installed in the hall and dining room. The contractors are still here finishing up. As expected\, there is a mess to clean up just in time for the next event. \nA Day of Siddha Yoga Practices for Families with children on Sunday\, August 3. I’m excited for the next generation of Siddha Yogis to experience being in the Ashram Manhattan. \nIn advance of that I’m inviting sevites to prepare and sparkle the ashram. \nChai and cake will be served in the newly cooled dining room. 😃 \nSparkle Seva \nSunday\, July 27\nFrom 2:00 – 4:00 \nI look forward to seeing you all again soon.
