Siddha Yoga Ashram Manhattan
2025 Calendar of Special Events

Spending a day in the energy of the Ashram environment, immersed in the Siddha Yoga practices with a community of like-minded individuals, is a wonderful way to intensify your experience and connection to the Self within. A day of Siddha Yoga Practices begins with the recitation of Shri Guru Gita and concludes with arati. Throughout the day participants engage in meditation, chanting, selfless service (Seva), study, darshan, and dakshina. By the culmination of the day your heart is open where unconditional love is apparent.

A “Day of Siddha Yoga Practice” has a specific focus, for instance, in February, the teaching and learning element, was the study of Gurumayi’s Message for 2025. Participants formed breakout groups to discuss their understanding of Gurumayi’s Message. By listening and sharing the teachings, one’s heart opens to the flow of grace for the benefit of knowing the Self within.

The Muktananda Dhyana Saptah is a one-day event deeply immersed in the practice of meditation, a core Siddha Yoga practice. Learn how to sit with the mind-body-spirit supported by a learning and teaching theme that gives the mind a point of focus to anchor one’s meditation experience. Discover the numerous benefits that meditation offers, fostering a deeper connection with the longing to know the divine Self within everyone.

On January 1st Sweet Surprise® satsang, we received Gurumayi’s Message for 2025. Gurumayi’s Message is the focus of study and practice for Siddha Yogis throughout the year. In addition a Reflection Satsang will be held where we will reflect on and share experiences of receiving Gurumayi’s Message in Sweet Surprise® 2025.

The Shaktipat Intensive is an annual event held during October, November, and December. In 2025, there are four occasions to participate in the Shaktipat Intensive at the Siddha Yoga Ashram Manhattan. The Shaktipat Intensive is the opportunity for seekers to receive the descent of grace, specifically to initiate and awaken Kundalini, one’s own spiritual energy that signals the beginning of Siddha Yoga sadhana, the path toward spiritual liberation.
